  For the occasion, a group of unusual and interesting antique weapons will be sold, of which a rare group of Sardinian pistols; three exceptional Neapolitan hunting short-swords; French and Italian honour daggers, property of eminent personalities; exquisite pairs of flintlock pistols from the Ottoman Empire manufactured in Algeria; two blunderbusses with splendid barrels and lockplates damascened in silver and gold; cased target and duelling pistols; iron maces; an important 18th century silver sword from the region of Piedmont decorated with the House of Savoy coat -of-arms on a gilded background; a large group of military arms and various Risorgimento sabres of notable importance. In the militaria section, a Russian helmet from the General of the Guards, used during the Crimean war and other headwear, are all of note.
  A magnificent and interesting group of halberds will certainly attract the attention of the weapons' collectors at the auction. Amongst the historical antiques, is a gilded silver vase with embossed and chiselled decoration depicting allegories of the expedition, a donation from the Fiume parliament to Gabriele d'Annunzio. Of noteworthy importance and extreme rarity is an Italian cinquedea in excellent condition with gilt traces in some areas, a weapon which is almost unobtainable on the market.
